You're okay. [ she waves away the apology. ] Just was startled, that's all.

[ more helpful than one may think! there was the whole dragon mating rush and the song, but there hadn't been much time to check out what they looked since--

well. last month was busy.

yukari leans in and takes aigis's hands in hers, partly to examine the physical changes in her armor up close and partly to simply hold her hand. she can already feel the urge to touch someone creeping in due to triple moon. ]

Yeah, the claws are new. [ she lightly traces her fingers up aigis's arm . ] And the scales.

And the horns, too.

[Oh. Even though this isn't their first triple moon together in the household, Aigis is still a little surprised at how easily Yukari takes her hands.

She doesn't respond immediately, a little mesmerized by the motion of Yukari's fingers as they touch her scales. She can't really feel it, of course. In fact, the scales dampen what approximation of sensation she does have; they're essentially armor.

But it's still warm where Yukari touches her. Chroma generation, probably.

After a moment of consideration, following the thread of logic between Yukari listing features and then exploring them with her hands, Aigis speaks again.] You may touch the horns too, if you want.

[She dips her head a little in offering. Like a dog coming in for pets tbh. The horns are the type that sort of sweep back over her head; there's a big set of two which emerge from her forehead, and then much smaller ones that grow from the triangles in the band of her headpiece.]

[ yukari's fingers still for an instant. the offer feels...intimate. not in an unwelcome way, of course. they share the same house, the same bed, the same girlfriend. somehow, their lives are more interconnected than when they were fighting for the sake of the world in iwatodai.

but this is different. allowing someone to touch her own antlers during iris is a sign of trust, of something more that yukari isn't up to examining at this hour of the morning. better to push the thought out of her mind aside for now. she reaches up to tentatively brush her fingers over the larger set of aigis' horns. ]

They feel...different. [ astute observation, yukari. ] Different than how mine are, I mean, but...I like them. They suit you.
